About the Owner
Chris Turnbaugh was born and raised in Saint Peters, MO. After several stints in piano lessons and even a year of clarinet, he received his first bass guitar. After that fateful Christmas day back in 1995, he quickly fell in love and decided that music would be a part of his life forever. Throughout high school and college, Chris played with many of the greatest rock and jazz musicians in St. Louis and beyond. He is also a part of the creative rock quintet, Groupthink. Chris obtained a BM in Music Performance from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville in which he took recording and three years of piano classes among other things. Through all this and also teaching guitar and bass for over five years, Chris has become very well-rounded and knowledgeable. He has been recording and building up his studio for several years, and now his name is credited on national releases and even a LionsGate short film.
